The Castle
A GRAND MEDIEVAL FORTRESS
Declared a National Monument in 1931, its construction dates back to 1086, by the King of Aragon and Pamplona, Sancho Ramírez, with the aim of conquering the Muslim city of Huesca (Wasqa).
In the following centuries, it became one of the most powerful abbeys of the kingdom and the Crown of Aragon.
